1. Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower stands as a symbol of romance and beauty and it is, obviously, one of the most photographed places in Paris. Tourists head to Trocadero Square as this is probably one of the best places to capture that iconic shot!

If you want to take some unique pictures of the Eiffel Tower you can try experimenting with angles and lighting at sunrise or sunset to create dramatic effects.

You can also take pictures from the surrounding gardens and Champ de Mars for a full-length view of the tower.

2. Louvre Museum

Photo of The Louvre Museum in Paris, France

The Louvre Museum stands out as a must-visit for anyone looking to capture the essence of Paris through their lens. It’s not just the world’s largest art museum but also one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Photographers find the contrast between the classical stone facade of the original museum and the modernity of the pyramid fascinating.

Another tip for photographers is to focus on capturing reflections of the pyramid in the surrounding pools.

These reflections can create stunning symmetrical compositions, especially during the golden hours of sunrise or sunset.

For those aiming to avoid crowds and get unobstructed views, arriving early in the morning is key.

The soft light at this time not only minimizes shadows but also bathes the museum in a gentle luminescence that can dramatically enhance your photos.

If you want to take pictures of the Notre-Dame you could go early in the morning. There won’t be a lot of people around and the dawn really makes the cathedral stand out in the soft natural light.

The Seine River also provides an amazing foreground for photographs of Notre-Dame. You could try and stand along the riverbanks to give your photos a unique depth, with the water reflecting the cathedral.
