10 Best hotels in the Marais for a perfect Paris trip!
Looking for the best hotels in Le Marais, Paris? I know how overwhelming it can be. With so many options, it’s hard to know where to start. You want to find a place that’s not just comfortable but also adds to the charm of your Parisian adventure.
I’ve been there, poring over countless reviews and websites, trying to figure out which hotel will truly make the trip special. It can be frustrating not knowing if you’re making the right choice, especially in such a beautiful and historic neighborhood like Le Marais.
Having visited Paris many times and stayed in a variety of hotels in Le Marais, I’ve gathered some real insights. I’ve experienced everything from luxurious stays to charming boutique hotels, and I’m here to share my top picks with you.
1. Why Choose Le Marais?

Le Marais is truly one of Paris’s most enchanting neighborhoods, and here’s why you’ll love it.
Unlike much of Paris, Le Marais wasn’t redesigned during the 19th century, so it still retains its medieval layout and unique architecture. You can explore beautiful 17th-century mansions, many of which now house museums, art galleries, and boutiques.
One of my favorite spots is the Place des Vosges, a stunning square perfect for a relaxing picnic or just soaking up the Parisian atmosphere. And if you’re into modern art, the Centre Pompidou is a must-see, with its striking design and impressive collection
What makes Le Marais even more special is its vibrant and diverse community. It’s home to the historic Jewish quarter, where you can find amazing bakeries and the best falafel you’ve ever tasted on Rue des Rosiers. The area is also known for its lively LGBTQ+ scene, with plenty of welcoming bars and cafes.

The rooms are air-conditioned and individually decorated with quirky, contemporary art-inspired designs. I actually think they are quite charming.
In the mornings you can expect a continental breakfast. The hotel also has a cafe if you want to grab something small to eat or just have a coffee.

The hotel has only eight rooms, and each of the rooms is uniquely decorated. They have all the modern amenities you’d expect, like air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and of course a coffee maker. The bathrooms come with high-end toiletries from Diptyque (one of my favourite Parisian brands – if I can afford it), which is a nice touch.
They also serve a great breakfast in the morning. Sure, there is no restaurant in the hotel itself but there are lots of amazing restaurants nearby.

Hôtel Emile in Le Marais is a fantastic choice if you’re traveling to Paris with family.
The hotel is located right in the middle of the Marais district. The saint paul metro station is also just a short walk away. It’s super easy to explore the whole city from here.
The rooms at the hotel are very trendy with cool design touches. They come with all the essentials like air conditioning, free WiFi, and flat-screen TVs. The rooms are soundproofed, which is great if you have young kids – both when they are having a tantrum (nothing worse than worrying about the comfort of other guests when your little one is screaming their lungs out – been there, done that!) and to make sure other guests don’t disturb their nap.
Daily housekeeping is also a massive plus.
You can have breakfast at the hotel but the cobblestone streets of Le Marais are also filled with amazing bakeries and bistrots.
